Q: When should I book my photo shoot? What is your schedule?
A:
We suggest that you book your session 4 weeks before any special occasion. The studio is open Tues-Thurs 9-4pm, Friday and Sunday from 10am-2pm. Friday and Sunday appointments are booked at least two months out to accommodate our HMUA’s schedule. Certain times of the year we are busier than others (3-4 weeks before Christmas and Valentine’s Day for example), we recommend 6-8 weeks before your preferred date during these holidays.

Q: Can I book an evening session?
A:
We can accommodate evening sessions schedule at least a month in advance. Summer months allow for occasional evening appointments, so be sure to contact us in April or May if you want to book an evening session during the summer months.

Q: What if I need to reschedule?
A:
You are allowed one reschedule of your session.

Q: Where does my session take place? Where is your studio?
A:
JLReis Photography is located in Seymour, WI. My studio is a separate building from my home and very private. We have plans to shoot in some local upper scale hotels, be sure to email and inquire about these sessions.

Q: Is hair and make-up included?
A:
Hair and make-up is included in your session. Prudence and I work very closely to ensure that your hair and make-up photographs perfectly in the light of the studio.

Q: What kind of outfits should I wear?
A:
Boudoir doesn’t always mean lingerie and panties! Bring what YOU feel sexy in. You can always choose something from the studio Boudie Closet as well. Items from The Closet are worn with YOUR panties underneath and are washed after EVERY wearing with Lysol Laundry Sanitizer. We’ll discuss your wardrobe before your session and you’ll know what you’re wearing before you get in front of the camera.

Q: How many wardrobe changes am I allowed?
A:
Three outfit changes are included in your session.

Q: Will you shoot me in the nude?
A:
You bet we will

Q: When do I get to see my images?
A.
I send a contact sheet of up to 30 of the best images from your session 5-7 days after so that you can choose your ten digital images from the privacy of your own home.

Q: Who sees my images?
A:
Unless you give someone else permission, only you, me and our HMUA sees your images. Your privacy is of the utmost importance to us and you are NEVER expected to allow us to use your images publicly. We go over your privacy options with you before your session.

Q: Will I look like myself in my photos?
A:
I do VERY realistic editing. By “realistic” I mean that I will NOT knock off 20 lbs, I will NOT give you alien eyes, I will NOT smooth your skin to the extent that you look like a Barbie doll. I do “glamour” editing, meaning you will look like yourself, but GLAMOROUS.

Q: When do I get my images?
A:
You receive your included images 14-21 business fays after your session and they’re delivered via email. If you order additional products (album, wall print, etc) the turn around is 3-5 weeks (please plan accordingly) and your product is delivered to my studio. I can have your order drop-shipped for an additional charge.

Q: Can I purchase additional products, what if I want an album?
A:
You sure can! Most clients do purchase additional products.

Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A:
Any major credit/debit cards, cash, checks. Orders will not be processed until your check clears. If your check bounces you will be charged a $50 fee. No orders are placed and worked on until the ENTIRE balance is paid in full.

Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A:
Yes, our base session can be paid in full or broken down into three payments. If you order additional products 50% is due upon ordering with the balance due before you receive your product.

Q: What’s stopping me?
A:
I have no idea! Get OVER here!!!
