Finding outfits for your boudoir session is half the fun but sometimes it is hard to know where to start! Keep in mind these simple tips and recommendations and you will look amazing!

My girls all ask “What should I wear for my boudoir session?” Read on, babies, I have the answer!

I have a pretty healthy Boudie Closet designed to fit girlies of ALL sizes. I am always adding to the Boudie Closet, my jewelry selection and of course, those hot CFM (censored) pumps.

When we set up your session, you can take a look at what I have in-studio or order something to keep from my Boudie Catalogue (coming in January 2019)!

As with all things boudie, there is no one answer to any question. Things to think about:

  • You don’t HAVE to wear lingerie to have a hot photo session – if you don’t feel sexy in something, you won’t look sexy in it!
  • Bring black, white and nude panties in addition to your lingerie/wardrobe
  • Bringing shoes? Save the “safe” shoes for church or that business meeting. If you don’t have killer stilettos, I DO
  • Bring new or lightly worn lingerie (you don’t want those little balls or rips showing up in your images)
  • Try everything on BEFORE packing it in your bag

Christmas is coming!

Believe it or not, Christmas is coming faster than we think. I’ve checked my calendar and realized I have only a handful of dates left for holiday delivery!

And then Valentine’s day is just around the corner!!!!!

Baby It’s Cold Outside

What the hell is boo-dar? Or bwoo-door. Or any number of goofy ways that people usually pronounce the word boudoir (boo-dwah, btw).

First, I’ll tell you what it’s NOT. It is not naked women rolling around in dark rooms having their photos taken. While it can definitely BE sexy, it’s not really ABOUT sex. It’s about how a woman feels about herself, her life, her relationship, her lover. It’s a celebration of your life, of your accomplishments, of your own personal beauty.

We are so goddam hard on ourselves – about everything from what kind of mother we are to our looks; but it’s our looks that we are the hardest on. Otherwise explain the ungodly amount of money that’s spent in one month alone on make-up, gizmos to remove hair and gym memberships. All in the name of trying to make ourselves beautiful.

A couple of weeks ago a client laughed and said to me “Make me sexy.” If you were the most beautiful woman in the world I could not “make” you sexy. I can make you beautiful, but sexy is a whole different animal. Sexy isn’t something you can brush on or wear, sexy is something you feel. Sexy is confidence.

It’s feeling good about yourself and when you feel good about yourself you stand a little taller and your eyes sparkle and your smile is just that much brighter. It’s like being in love with yourself.

SassyBee Glamour PhotographyI’m hosting 2015’s FINAL Boudoir Marathon Wednesday, December 10 and Thursday December 11, 6pm both nights at 245 Main St. The sessions will be 30-45 minutes in length.

Over the year I’ve found that the less time we have to think about something, to more apt we are to just jump. I’m giving you that option 😉

The cost is 99$ for 5 (five) 4×6 professionally edited images with full printing rights (you receive your images on a disk with a print release). I choose the final five images and you will receive your disks 2-3 days after your session – more than enough time to have them printed for that special someone.

Hair and makeup with be available for an additional 50$, provided by myself; if booking makeup, I will need an hour to apply and prepare for your shoot!

I will have props available: shoes, robes, boas, hats, ties, gloves, baseball/football jerseys, etc – too many to mention. Please bring a sexy pair of panties (black and/or white) or anything else to personalize your shoot.
